I think central locking often works from only the drivers door on cars, that's my experience anyway. The 'fit it into the driver's door' method is great because it's simple and easy. the problem comes in getting or tracing wires out of the door, because the door's right at the front and the door wires go through a tight rubber tube into I think Disconnect the negative battery terminal for 10-20 minutes then reconnect. You will need to reset your radio station presets, maybe the clock and with the drivers door lock button, lock then unlock the doors. If you dont do the last thing your tailgate wont open. Quote.
I looked for my door lock module in the middle of the dash, near the floor. It is not there. Please look at the attach photo, which shows the module mounting area, along with a 15-pin connector. I made a trip to the local U-Pull-It yard and acquired a module. However, this module is 9-pin, where I have only a 15-pin connector.

When off the gearbox only uses 3 gears allowing driving at higher revs. "This mode is useful for hills or busy motorways etc".

I.e. whereas before it used ot just lock once it sounds like every few seconds the
I have found reprogramming instructions to link/sync remote locking FOB with car. Instructions say that I must find "ECU reprogramming button" . Button should be indented ie. need a pen or paper clip to press button in for 3-seconds. Instructions say ECU should be located either under 1 of front seats, in boot, or under dashboard driver side.
